Siro stores data in two places: on your device (all usage records, settings, and history) and optionally on Google Drive (a backup file, only if you enabled Cloud Backup). You can delete either or both at any time.
Types of data you can delete
Usage History
All network usage records collected by Siro: per-app usage, daily breakdowns, historical data, and Data Vault entries.
App Settings & Preferences
Your configured data limit, theme choice, notification preferences, and all other in-app settings.
Cloud Backup File
The siro_backup.json file stored in your Google Drive App Data folder (only exists if you used Cloud Backup).
Option 1: Delete specific data inside the app
- Open Siro and navigate to Data Vault (Pro) or Settings.
- To clear this month's data, go to Settings → Reset Usage.
- To delete a specific historical record, open Data Vault, long-press the entry, and tap Delete.
- Confirm the deletion when prompted.
Option 2: Clear all app data (full local reset)
- Open Settings on your Android device.
- Go to Apps (or Application Manager).
- Find and tap Siro.
- Tap Storage, then tap Clear Data.
- Confirm when prompted.
Option 3: Delete your cloud backup
- Open Google Drive on your phone or at drive.google.com.
- Tap the menu icon ≡ and go to Settings → Manage Apps.
- Find Siro in the list and tap Delete hidden app data.
- Confirm deletion. The backup file is permanently removed from your Drive.
Option 4: Delete everything (full removal)
- Follow Option 3 to delete the cloud backup (if applicable).
- Uninstall Siro from your device: this removes all local data automatically.
- Optionally, revoke Google authorization from your Google Account Permissions page.
Disconnect Google Sign-In (account removal)
Siro does not require a traditional account. The only “account” is your Google Sign-In session, used exclusively for Cloud Backup.
- Open Siro on your Android device.
- Tap the Settings icon in the bottom navigation.
- Scroll to the Backup section and tap Manage Backup.
- Tap Sign Out to disconnect your Google account from Siro.
Crash reporting data
Siro uses third-party tools to log app crashes. This data is stored by our crash reporting service provider and automatically deleted after 90 days. It contains no personal information: only stack traces and anonymous device metadata.
To opt out: Settings → Privacy → Crash Reporting inside Siro.
