1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the RingBar application (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service
RingBar is an Android application that places a customisable ring-shaped overlay around your device’s notch or punch-hole camera, displaying system indicators such as battery level and notification count. The App operates locally on your device using the Android Accessibility Service and Notification Listener Service.
3. License
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to download and use the App on Android devices that you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial use.
You may not:
- Copy, modify, or distribute the App
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Remove or alter any proprietary notices
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
4. RingBar Premium (Lifetime Licence)
4.1 What’s Included
The RingBar lifetime licence unlocks all premium ring presets, removes ads, and grants access to all future premium features at no additional cost.
4.2 Billing
The lifetime licence is a one-time purchase processed through Google Play Billing. Current price is displayed in the App and may vary by region.
4.3 Refunds
Refund requests are governed by Google Play’s refund policy. We do not process refunds directly. You may request a refund through Google Play within the applicable window.
The free version of RingBar displays ads provided by our third-party advertising partners, including banner ads and optional rewarded ads (to temporarily unlock premium presets). By using the free version, you agree to the display of these ads. Purchasing the lifetime licence permanently removes all ads.
6. System Permissions
RingBar requires the Accessibility Service and Notification Listener Service to function. By enabling these permissions, you authorise RingBar to:
- Read system-level state (battery level, system events) via the Accessibility Service
- Count active notifications via the Notification Listener Service
RingBar does not read, store, or transmit the content of your notifications or any on-screen text. These permissions are used solely to drive the ring overlay indicators.
7. User Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Grant the system permissions required for RingBar to function
- Use the App only as permitted by applicable law
- Not attempt to circumvent the licence verification system
8. Data and Privacy
Your use of the App is subject to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that:
- The App will be compatible with all Android devices or Android OS versions
- The overlay will display correctly on all notch or punch-hole form factors
- The App will be error-free or uninterrupted
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data or profits, arising from your use of or inability to use the App.
10. Third-Party Services
The App integrates with:
- Advertising Partners: advertising (free users)
- License Verification Service: purchase verification and entitlement management
Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the conduct of these third-party services.
11. Availability and Updates
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the App or any feature at any time, with or without notice. We are not liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in accordance with that law.
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. The updated version will be posted at this URL with a revised “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
