Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the QuickChat mobile application (“App”) operated by QuickChat (“we”, “us”, “our”). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you disagree with any part, please do not use the App.

1. The Application

QuickChat is a utility that allows you to send messages on WhatsApp, Telegram, or Signal to any phone number without saving it as a contact. The App is available on Android and is intended for personal, non-commercial use.

2. Scope of Licence

2.1 We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive, non-sublicensable licence to install and use the App on devices you own or control, subject to these Terms.

2.2 This licence covers any updates we provide that replace or supplement the original App, unless a separate licence is provided for that update.

2.3 You may not share, sell, rent, lend, lease, or otherwise redistribute the App to third parties without our prior written consent.

2.4 You may not reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, translate, modify, or attempt to derive the source code of the App or any part of it.

2.5 You may not remove or obscure any copyright, trademark, or other intellectual property notices in the App.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use QuickChat only for lawful purposes. You must not use the App to:

• Send unsolicited commercial messages (spam)
• Harass, threaten, or harm any individual
• Violate applicable telecommunications laws
• Circumvent legal restrictions on communication in your jurisdiction

4. Technical Requirements

4.1 We aim to keep the App compatible with current Android versions and hardware. You are not entitled to any specific update.

4.2 You are responsible for ensuring your device meets the technical requirements needed to run the App.

4.3 The App requires WhatsApp, Telegram, or Signal to be installed on your device in order to open a chat. QuickChat does not provide messaging services itself.

5. Maintenance and Support

5.1 QuickChat is solely responsible for providing maintenance and support for the App. You can reach us at moshlabs2+quickchat@gmail.com.

5.2 Google, as the distributor via Google Play, has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support for the App.

6. User Content

QuickChat stores recent phone numbers and optional labels locally on your device. You represent that your use of these features does not violate the rights of any third party or applicable law.

7. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in the App: including its design, code, and branding: remain with QuickChat. These Terms do not transfer any intellectual property rights to you.

8. Limitation of Liability

8.1 TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, QUICKCHAT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP.

8.2 In no event shall our total liability to you exceed fifty dollars (USD $50.00).

9. Warranty Disclaimer

9.1 We warrant that the App does not contain known malware at the time of release and that it functions as described in the documentation.

9.2 THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

10. Product Claims

QuickChat: not Google: is responsible for addressing claims relating to the App, including product liability claims, claims that the App fails to meet a legal requirement, and claims under consumer protection or privacy legislation.

11. Legal Compliance

By using the App, you represent that you are not located in a country subject to a relevant government embargo or designated as supporting terrorism, and that you are not listed on any government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

12. Termination

This licence remains in effect until terminated by QuickChat or by you. Your rights under this licence terminate automatically, without notice, if you fail to comply with any of these Terms. Upon termination, you must stop using the App and delete any copies from your devices.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the date at the top of this page when we do. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
