You can delete some or all of your PreSpend data at any time: from within the app, via your device settings, or by contacting us. Your account and data are fully under your control.

Delete Your Data (Keep Account Active)

Delete budget data without closing your account. Your account stays active and you can start fresh whenever you like.

Option 1: Delete from the app

1 Open the PreSpend app on your device
2 Tap the Settings icon (gear icon, bottom navigation)
3 Tap Data & Privacy
4 Tap Delete All Data, choose what to remove, and confirm

Option 2: Clear local data via device settings

1 Open your phone's Settings
2 Go to Apps → PreSpend
3 Tap Storage → Clear Data

Heads up: Clearing data via device settings removes only local data. If you have cloud sync enabled (Premium), your synced data on our servers is not affected by this method.

Note: Deleting your account does not remove data stored locally on your device. To clear local data, uninstall the app or go to your phone's Settings → Apps → PreSpend → Storage → Clear Data.

4 Tap Delete Account and confirm your decision

Data Retention

After deletion, your account data is permanently removed within 30 days. Aggregated, anonymised analytics (with no personally identifiable information) may be retained to improve the service.

Budget data deleted from within the app is permanently removed within 30 days. No backup copies are retained after deletion is processed.
