You are in full control of your Resumiq data. You can delete individual resumes, clear all data, remove your digital profile, or permanently delete your account — at any time, from within the App or by contacting us.
What You Can Delete

Delete a Single Resume
Remove one resume without affecting the rest of your data or your account.
From the App
- 1 Open Resumiq and go to the My Resumes screen
- 2 Long-press or swipe left on the resume you want to delete
- 3 Tap Delete and confirm
Note: If you have cloud sync enabled, the resume is deleted from both your device and our servers. If you are on the free tier, deletion removes local data only.
Delete All Your Data (Keep Account Active)
Clear all resumes, cover letters, ATS analyses, application tracker entries, and your digital profile — without closing your account. Your account and subscription status remain active.

Option 1: Delete from the App
- 1 Open Resumiq and tap the Profile tab
- 2 Tap Settings
- 3 Tap Data & Privacy
- 4 Tap Clear All Data and confirm your choice
Option 2: Clear local data via device settings
- 1 Open your phone's Settings
- 2 Go to Apps → Resumiq
- 3 Tap Storage → Clear Data
Heads up: Clearing data via device settings removes only the local copy on your device. If you have cloud sync enabled (Premium), your data on our servers is not affected by this method. Use the in-app option or email us to remove cloud-stored data as well.
Remove Your Public Digital Profile
If you have created a public digital profile, you can remove it at any time. Your profile URL will immediately stop returning your content.
From the App
- 1 Open Resumiq and tap the Profile tab
- 2 Tap Digital Profile
- 3 Tap Remove Public Profile and confirm
Note: After removal, your profile URL will no longer display your content. However, third-party services (such as search engine caches or web archives) may retain a snapshot of your profile for a period of time outside our control. If you are concerned about cached copies, we recommend requesting removal directly from the relevant search engine.
Delete Your Account (Permanent)
Permanently delete your Resumiq account and all associated server-side data. This action cannot be undone.

Note: Deleting your account removes your data from our servers but does not automatically remove local data stored on your device. To clear local data, uninstall Resumiq or go to your phone's Settings → Apps → Resumiq → Storage → Clear Data.
Active subscription: Deleting your account does not automatically cancel an active subscription. You must cancel your subscription separately through your Google Play or Apple App Store account settings before or after deleting your account to avoid future charges.

Option 2: Request via email
Can't access the App or prefer we handle it?
Send us a deletion request and we'll process it within 7 business days and send a confirmation email.
Please include the email address associated with your Resumiq account and use the subject line "Account Deletion Request — Resumiq". To help us verify your identity, we may ask you to confirm the email address and approximate sign-up date.
Data Retention After Deletion
What happens to your data
Once a deletion request is confirmed — whether from within the App or via email — your personal account data is permanently removed from our servers within 30 days. No backup copies of your resume content are retained after deletion is processed.
The following limited data is retained after account deletion for legal and operational reasons, without any link to you as an identifiable individual:
- Subscription transaction records — retained as required by applicable financial and tax law (typically 7 years). These records contain only transaction metadata (purchase token, date, amount) as provided by the app store and RevenueCat, and are retained solely to comply with our financial obligations.
- Anonymised analytics — aggregated usage statistics with no personally identifiable information are retained for up to 24 months to improve the App.
